He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Trish" Masonbrink. He is survived by: his parents, John Theurer and Jackie Theurer (Welsch); his children, Cassandra Gee and Briar Armstrong; his siblings, Mark Theurer, Rich Theurer, Randy Theurer, Theresa Theurer of Portland and Shannon Bias of Portland; and his grandchildren, Emma, Mason, Benson, Duke, Bendago and Mike Theurer.
