He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stump and Hazel Marie Stump (Perdieu); his children, Mark Alan Stump and Melinda Hopton; his granddaughter Debbie LeMaster; his great grandchild Garry Gadberry III; and his siblings, Geraldine Vaughan and Charles Stump.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hough; and his children, Neil Rinker II (Amanda Moore) of Portland, Cindy Bales (Clark Christian) of Berne, Margaret "Meg" Chaney (Randy) of Fortville, Carla Rinker (Steven McCollum) of Pennville and Michele Colburn of Bonita Springs, FL.. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and Fifteen great grandchildren.
