Madonna L. Chittum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madonna L. Chittum of Portland, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Meinerding and Mary Meinerding (Faller); her husband Larry Chittum; her daughter Theresa; her grandson Chris Jackson; and her sister Jeannette Meinerding.
She is survived by: her children, Vince Chittum (Laura) of Bargersville, Patrick Chittum (Jenn) of Wauseon and Deborah Jackson (Doug) of Portland; and her siblings, Gene Meinerding of Union City, Jack Meinerding (Ginny) of Union City and Mary Jo Stump (Larry) of Hudson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to Portland Rockets or Jay County.
