He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Newton and Bessie Newton (Stratton); and his children, Ray Newton (Cindy) of Portland, Linda Tucker (Richard) of Winchester, Diane Caster (Chuck) of Portland and Nancy Lininger (Michael) of Portland, Fourteen. He was also cherished by Fourteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
