He was predeceased by: his brother John L. Fennig (Liz Gatewood). He is survived by: his wife Jody (Krahulec); his children, Karl Steven Fennig of Redkey, Sharon Rose Hiatt (Eric) of Ridgeville, Jewel Ann Hardymon (Randy) of Portland, Mark Allen Fennig (Joann) of Union City and David Brian Fennig of Carrollton, KY.; the mother of his children Naomi Kramer (Gaston) of Eaton; his stepchildren, Todd Detro (Susie) of Ridgeville and Luann Detro of Ridgeville; and his siblings, Michael Fennig (Brenda) of Union City, Joseph Fennig (Kathleen) of Portland, Mary Gluff (Howard) of Muncie and Madeline Hays Lewis of Texas. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 49 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
