It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivo J. Braun of Portland, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Braun and Rosella Braun (Minnich); and his wife Eloise Braun (Barhorst). He is survived by: his children, Tom Braun (Lisa) of Fort Recovery, Connie Kohn (Gerald) of Coldwater and Fred Braun of Portland; his siblings, LaDonna VanDenBosch (Carl) of Coldwater, Rita Heyne of Dayton and Carl Braun (Judie) of Celina; his daughter-in-law Pat Link (Brian) of Portland; his close friend Julie Spoltman of Coldwater; his siblings-in-law, Viola Braun of Coldwater and Don Dues of Celina; his parents-in-law, Chris Barhorst of Russia, Doris Bruggeman of St. Henry, Dolores Bruggeman of St. Henry, Joseph Barhorst (Wilma) of Coldwater, Ralph Meyer of St. Henry and Martha Subler (Richard) of New Bremen; his sons, Steven and Ronald Braun; his siblings, Esther Marchal (Otis), Linda Dues, Linus Braun (Virginia), Marcene Burris (Louis) and Virgil "Shorty" Braun; his sister-in-law Jean Braun; and his parents-in-law, Clarissa Brinkman, Charlene Schmit (Lavern), Herb Barhorst, Virgil Bruggeman, Werner Bruggeman, Clarence Barhorst (Shirley), Marilyn Meyer, Emily Subler (Jack) and Margie Rethman (Edward). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
