He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bailey and Thelma Bailey (Milligan); and his sister Mary Lu Bye. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Bailey; his sons, Clayton Bailey, Douglas Loren Bailey (Shawna) and David Paul Bailey; and his grandchildren, Madeline, Mariah, Jaycee, Sean, Cooper Bailey, Briana, Christopher, Mercedes and Alexis Bailey.
