It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Butcher Jr. of Portland, Indiana, born in Bryant, Indiana, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer O. Butcher and Myrtle Butcher Sr. (Crabill); his wife Lorene; his sons, Larry and Terry Butcher; and his siblings, Dorwin, Jay, Joe, Dave, Max, Jack Butcher, Iva Brotherton, Lillia Shepherd, Katie Marchet, Francis Goss and Lois Ilene Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
