George L. Horn Obituary

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elnora Horn (Landon); and his children, Gary Horn, Linda Lowe (David), Dennis Horn (Marianne), Brian Horn (Angie) and Cheryl Schell (Mark). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
