She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Rowe and Floris Rowe (Painter); her children, Herbert Howell, Jr., Shirley Gruss (Portland), Rebecca Hudson (Portland), Beverly Phenis, Mary Emrick (Dennis), Richard Howell (Malinda), Nathaniel Howell (Pendleton) and Laura Johnson (James); her brother Raymond Rowe, Sr. (Jane); and also Sonny Petty. She was also cherished by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers that a tree in memory of Evelyn be planted in her memory, or donate to any cancer organization. Donations may also be directed towards A Better Way of Muncie.
