He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Walter and Irene Walter (Betz); and his brother William Walter. He is survived by: his wife Laurel Walter; his children, Michael Walter, Jennifer, Cherie, Caroline Walter and Pennville; his brothers, Fred Walter and Roger Walter; his nephews, Rob Walter and Portland (Kris Michaelson); and his brother-in-law Marvin Michaelson. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts and uncles.
