He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Edwin and Frances Hicks (Missicano); and his siblings, John Hicks, Joe Nelson, Donald Nelson and Donna Voght.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Armstrong; and his siblings-in-law, Sam Voght and Donna Nelson.
