She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer I Sheffer and Rita D. Sheffer (Nelson); and her siblings, Lawrence "Bill" Sheffer, Ivan "Sonny" Sheffer, F. A. "Joey" Sheffer, Pauline Houser and Ursel Stroble.
She is survived by: her son Larry Springer of Grottoes, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Therysa, Codie and Chenia. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and many loving family and friends.
