We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 83, Shareen Barnack of Portage, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shareen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shareen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shareen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Barnack; her parents, Charles and Catherine; and her siblings, Gerald (Faye), Douglas (Shirley), JoAnn (Joseph), Barbara (Thomas) and Susan Jane.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Crocker (Eileen) and Linda Palmateer (Willard).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342).
