He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Rubino and Iris J. Rubino; his former wife Mary Rubino; his wife Claudia; and his brothers, Michael and Charles Rubino.
He is survived by: his son Richard Rubino (Tricia); his grandsons, Aidan, Dominic and Noah Rubino; his siblings, Philip Rubino (Cindy), Marcia Jones (Steve Sonaty) and Marilyn Walsh; his niece Stephanie Sonaty; his nephew Steven Jones (Amber); his great-nephew Kobain (Harrison); and his close friends, Jay Bor and Chris Sonaty. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are preferred to the Unity Hospice of Northwest Indiana 3313 E 83rd Pl, Merrillville, IN 46410.
