He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Torres (Jimenez) of Portage; his children, Richard Torres, Jr. of Merrillville, Christine Torres of Niles and Joseph V. Torres of Portage; and his siblings, Thomas J. Torres (Charles Zuehlke) of Escanaba, Paul Torres of Portage, Robert Torres (Orlett) of Portage and Marie Torres (William Breunig). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
