She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schavey and Julia Schavey; her sisters, Loretta (Crofton) and Nancy (York); and her former husband David Kenneth Quick of September.

She is survived by: her siblings, Sandi (Haywood), Louis Schavey, Linda (Sunderland) and Robin (Gilliland); and her children, Shelly Mendenhall (Keith), Jean Cook (John), Joady Kerouac (Robert), Troy Quick (Maggie) and Daniel Quick (Andrea).
