She was predeceased by: her husband Miguel Leal; her father Pablo Alvarez; and her son Rene Leal. She is survived by: her children, Margie Jimenez (Jay), Michael Leal (Christine), Josie Garcia (Greg), Richard Leal, Edward Leal (Gina), Raul Leal (Sylvia), Robert Leal (Michelle) and Sandy Mendez. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; over thirty great-grandchildren; other relatives and special friends.
