He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Metzinger and Katharina Metzinger; his wife Sigrid Metzinger; and his brother Johann Metzinger. He is survived by: his daughter Renate Metzinger (Ron Okamoto); his grandchildren, Ashley Przybylinski (Brett), Christopher Sholar (Danielle) and Brian Sholar (Lauren Konyk); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Anna, Kyla and Alexandra.
