He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Haws and Renie Ornelas (Jones) of Portage, Indiana.; and his wife Christy Haws (Short). He is survived by: his children, Brier Haws (Seth) of Ellettsville, Koleton Haws (Taylor) of Chesterton, Marissa Haws (Drew) of New Carlisle, Evan Haws of La Porte, Mya Ann Haws of La Porte and Autumn Haws of La Porte, Indiana; his grandchildren, Piper, Jaxon, Caroline and Clarence; his brother Jerry Gilles (Cheryl) of Portage, Indiana; and his brother-in-law Tim Short (Denise) of La Porte, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
