It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Willison Sr. of Portage, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Michael and Joseph; his mother Patricia; and his siblings, Rusty, Richard, Matthew and Sharon.
He is survived by: his sons, Jim Willison Jr. (Amy) of Dyer, IN, Steve Willison (Cindy) of Demotte, IN, Chuck Willison of Conifer, CO and Yusef Mohmed (Samantha) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Anthony (Amanda), Eamon, Ariel (Dustin), Jake, Nick, Jason, Isaiah and Allistair; and his sister Chris Beam of Hobart, IN. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
