James E. Kirkman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Kirkman of Portage, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Kirkman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Riley" Kirkman and Agnes Stella Kirkman; his daughter-in-law Judith Kirkman; his stepdaughter Sandy Allison; and his siblings, Opal of Sylvia, R. C., Coy, Daniel and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Savage (Bob) of Warsaw and David Kirkman of Westville; his siblings, Lendon "Fuddy" Kirkman (Ruth), Edith Shanklin and Mildred Wasdin; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jennifer, Nicole, Kathleen, Christine and Jayme. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
