He was predeceased by: his parents, William Youngheim and Katherine Youngheim (Schnieder); his wife Nancy Youngheim (LaRussa); and his sister Beverly Youngheim. He is survived by: his children, Karen Hutchins (Gary) of Port Orchard, Washington, Cathy Fejer (Kevin Perschke) of Valparaiso, Paul Youngheim (Sharon) of Portage and Jeffrey Youngheim of Hollywood, Florida.; his grandchildren, Eric Hutchins (Lindsay), Kimberly Garbison (Chance), Lauren Hase (Myron) and Lisa Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Blaine, Kade, Camden, Graham, Edmund, Gavin, Dominic and Lindy; his friend Shirley Sanders; and his caregiver June Sonaty.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (356 West St 700 n, Valparaiso, IN 46385). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at 356 W. Seven Mile Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46385.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Howard Youngheim's name to VNA Hospice of Valparaiso or The Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Building Fund.
