He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Oney and Bonnie Sparks Oney; his wife Coralee Rutledge Oney; his daughter Lydia; his daughter-in-law Leah Blakely Oney; his siblings, Judith Oney Moore, Billy Joe and Jack Oney; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy, Sondra Rutledge, Frank Rutledge, George Lowe and Maurice Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Boswell (Tom), Forrest Oney (Kelly) and Mary Newsome (Tim); his grandchildren, Victoria Perez (Joe), Garrett, William (Makayla), Bradley Boswell (Junisia Cain), John Sarver (Samantha), Miles Oney (Alli), Adanna Kleinhardt, Matthew and David Reding; his great grandchildren, Coralee, Korbin, Thomas Boswell, Xander Perez, Jayceon Penrose, Linkyn, Kasen Kleinhardt and Aleah Oney; his brother Jim Oney (Cheryl); his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Oney, Ann Lowe, Susan Rutledge and Charles Rutledge; his aunt Mildred Smith; and his cousin Kenneth White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
