He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Penrod and Helen M. Penrod (Bird); his wife Patti; and his children, Lavon Ivins and Richard R. Penrod.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Casey Householder (Mike) of North Judson, Jessica, Erika of Florida and Logan Gerber (Anne) of Fort Wayne; his great grandchildren, Emiley, Michael and Alyssa Householder; his brother Lester Penrod (Pat) of Carrollton, KY.; and his children-in-law, Kevin Ivins and Stacy Penrod of Bluffton.
Memorials may be given to Poneto Faith Community Church.
