He was predeceased by: his father Vernon E. Stone-Smith. He is survived by: his mother Becky Stone-Smith (Bulger) of Poneto; his son Daniel Stone (Jadeyn Thomas) of Elkton, KY.; and his sister Jennifer Mounsey (Russell) of Keystone. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Vern's memory to the Park Center payable to Parkview Foundation.
