We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rita O. Knowles of Poneto, Indiana, born in Portland, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nilah E Smith (Reynolds) and Percy R Smith; her sister Betty Kistler; and her spouse Marlin Allen Knowles, Sr.. She is survived by: her sister Ghlee Dobbins; her children, Lacey Knowles (Rebecca), Mak Knowles (Jennifer), Sara Muller (Rodney) and Jordan Knowles (Marie); and her grandchildren, Emma, Price, Sadie, Emmett, Myrtle, Asa and Nilah.

Memorials may be made in Rita's name to the Wells County 4-H Backpack program or to the Poneto Volunteer Fire Department, and can be sent through the funeral home.
