He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Oswalt; and his great grandchild Ellie Grace Schortgen. He is survived by: his wife Adeline L. Oswalt (Ruse); his children, Kathy Smelzer (James) of Poneto, IN, Karla Kizer (Andy) of Bluffton, IN, Kenny Oswalt (Julie) of Pendleton, IN and Kerry Oswalt (Kim) of Poneto, IN; and his brother Gerald D. Oswalt (Margaret) of Warsaw, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
