He was predeceased by: his mother Lelia Smiley (Henry); and his sister Nancy Smiley. He is survived by: his father Jimmy Smiley (Charlotte); his children, Veronica Smiley, Tara Kent, William Walker and Joshua Smiley; and his siblings, James Smiley (Sheila) and Connie Bradford (George).
