He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walter and Mary Hiler (Grimm); his sister Judith Hiler; and his former wife Robin O'Brien of Grand Rapids, MI.. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Conley (Duke) of Monticello, Heather Havens of Walkerton and Thomas J. Hiler of LaPaz; his stepson Dirk Obrien (Amber) of Grand Rapids, MI; his granddaughter Kayla Hiler of Walkerton; his great grandchildren, Kendra Hiler, Takodah Hiler, Maximus Myers, Annabellah Myers, Ryddic Myers, Natalie Myers and Syndie Myers; his brother Joe Hiler of Walkerton; and his former wife Myra Hiler of Rensselaer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
