She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Paul Louis and Bertha Irene Schmeltz (Thomas); her son Scott Lowry; her siblings, Donna Wood and Paul Schmeltz; her grandson Troy Klingerman; and her son-in-law Don Sheldon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Traci Klingerman (James) of Walkerton, Darla Pantzer (Gary) of Lakeville, Robbyn Sheldon of North Liberty and Alicia Adams (Edward) of Indianapolis; and her sisters, Gloria Krieg (Charles) of Bremen and Margaret Birk of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
