He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Emerick and Eunice Emerick (Kaniewski); and his daughter Caren. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mendenhall (Cote); his sons, Brian Emerick (Joka) of Schererville, IN and Jerry Emerick (Karen) of Centerville, OH.; his grandchildren, Tyler Emerick (Jessica), Austin Emerick, Jovana Emerick and Mila Emerick; his great grandchild Taylor Emerick; and his siblings, Connie Czajkowski (Mike) of Bremen and Tom Emerick (Marilyn) of Granger.
