It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Tingley of Plymouth, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tingley and Lora Lee Tingley (Gill); his wife Emma Louise Tingley; his son Scott Tingley; and his siblings, William Patrick Gleason and Carolyn Pavich.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Smith (Rick) of Plymouth, Ric Bowen Tingley of Plymouth, Matthew Bowen Tingley of Plymouth, John Martin of Laporte, Michael Martin (Tammy) of Laporte, Jennifer Hibner (Tony) of Michigan City and Haley McFarland of Knox; and his siblings, Mary Lou Gross of Lowell and Jim Gleason (Tricia) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
