She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Dipert and Beaulah Beyler Sherk Dipert; and her siblings, Roger Sherk, Becky Dipert and Doug Dipert.

She is survived by: her uncle Carl Coplen; and her aunt Ruth Ann Anders. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and very close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Genie can be made to Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
