She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Dillenburg); and her brothers, Paul, John, William, James, Harold and Richard Schmidt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cathy Eley of Argos, Margaret Stukenburg of Tulsa, OK and Thomas Schmidt (Rhea) of Culver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
