It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laveta Iva Scofield (Plymouth, Indiana), who passed away on December 22, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse John Scofield; her sister Jean Murphy of Plymouth; and her children, Jon (Karen) of Grand Rapids, Mich., Nina Myers (Steve) of Venice and Dawn Adamson (Michael) of Atlanta. She was also cherished by six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Open Arms Preschool Fund, 305 W. State St., Cassopolis, Mich. 49031.
