He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hartman and Elma Hartman (Purdy); and his siblings, Myrtle, Norma, Barbara, Jimmy and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hartman; his children, Ricky Hartman (Rebecca) of California, Randall Hartman (Debbie) of Muncie, IN and Shawn Kearby (Richard) of Plymouth, IN; and his sisters, Linda Wilson (Larry) of Rensselaer, IN and Carol Prentis of Wisconsin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
