He was predeceased by: his mother Ina May Jefferies (Fenstemaker); his wife Eva Lucille O'Hara; his father Fred Jefferies; and his sisters, Mary Puterbaugh, Barbara Riewoldt and Marcille Cass.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hamann of Argos, IN, Karen Markley (Richard) of Plymouth, IN, Debra Nifong of Plymouth, IN and Larry Jefferies (April) of Plymouth, IN. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
