She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Wallace and Nellie V. Wallace (Dawson); her spouse Robert "Jim" Stapan; and her siblings, Clayton, Derl, Merlin, Burton and Roena Yazel.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Stockberger (Roger) of Argos and Tami Schmidt (Rick) of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, Eric Stockberger (Samantha) and Ella Schmidt; and her siblings, Alvina Florea, Nadine Rice, Linda Sheets and Devere Wallace.
