It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Miller (Plymouth, Indiana), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome King and Louise Huffine (Reed); her husband Jimmie Miller; and her siblings, Bill Reed and Cathy.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Chapman (Jim) of Plymouth and David Miller (Gwen) of Alabama; and her sisters, Leslie and Karen. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
