She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Herschbach and Elizabeth Herschbach (Becker); her husband Rev. Ned A. Meckstroth; her daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Brenda; and her sister Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Meckstroth (Jennifer) of Granger, IN; her granddaughters, Hannah Meckstroth, Emily Haydock (Ethan) and Abigail Meckstroth; and her pets, Poppi, Lief and Stanley.
Jo Ann was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Plymouth and was an active member of the American Heart Association.
