He was predeceased by: his wife Paula; and his grandson Randy Bollman. He is survived by: his children, Hardware Store, MaryKaye Buchtel (William Starkey), Jay Robert Buchtel (Linda Buchtel) and Ronald William Buchtel (Jerri Buchtel); and his grandchildren, Kathy Bollman Dunham (Kevin Dunham), Brett Bollman (Tonya Bollman), Shelly Buchtel DeLee (Steve DeLee), Scott Buchtel (Stephanie Buchtel), Jason Buchtel (Jenifer Buchtel) and Justin Buchtel. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
