He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jeffrey Matthew Rimel (Deborah), Scott Allen Rimel (Susan) of Rowlett and Sue Ellen (Brian); his siblings, Joyce Metier of Fort Collins and Warden Rimel of Austin; and his brother-in-law Dick Riecks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
