With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Kruyer Sr. of Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto A. Kruyer and Bessie Kruyer (Jacoby); his wife Patsy A. Kain-Smith; his son Michael Samuels; his granddaughter Jocelyn Schlosser; his siblings, Mary Ruth Trump, Robert, Raymond and Louis; and his nephew Michael Trump.
He is survived by: his children, Amme Girten (Larry) of Plymouth, IN, Julee Samuels-Alderfer of Rochester, IN, Lorre Samuels-Osborn of Plymouth, IN, Emyle Kruyer-Collins (Michael) of Plymouth, IN and James Kruyer, Jr. (Laura) of Plymouth, IN; and his brother-in-law David Kain. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
