James D. Burkett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Burkett (Plymouth, Indiana), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Devon Burkett and Mary Priscilla Burkett (Powell); his father-in-law Meril Overmyer; and his nephew Andrew Overmyer. He is survived by: his wife Deb Burkett (Overmyer) of Argos, Indiana.; his daughters, Jennifer Hutchison (Aaron) of Argos, Indiana, Katie Burkett of Argos, Indiana and Megan Wagoner (Gary) of Burket; his grandchildren, Triston, Karter, Rylie, Weylin, Alaina, Karsin, Kolstin and Addy; his sister Cathy Burkett of Argos; his mother-in-law Dorothy Overmyer of Argos; his brother-in-law Tim Overmyer (Lori) of Argos, Indiana.; his niece Ashley Beldon (Chris) of Argos, Indiana; and his nephew Josh Overmyer (Maleah) of St. Joseph.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Song Church (1292 Baker St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
