Irma E. Slack Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma E. Slack of Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irma E. Slack to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Irma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Irma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Eastwood and Rena Eastwood (Britt); her husband Robert William Slack; and her grandson Jordan Slack. She is survived by: her children, Howard Slack (Susan), Christine Houghton (Harley), Lisa Duke (Peter VanDerlip) and Gordon Slack (Theresa). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (400 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 Chester St, Plymouth, IN 46563).
