We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 88, Helen K. Shorter (Plymouth, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Paul C.; and her husband William Shorter of Michael's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Becky Wolfe (Jim), Bill Shorter (Sue) and Patty Welch (Steve); her grandchildren, Adam Griewank (Krista), Andy Griewank (Sara), Anne Marie Griewank, Monica Sebastiani (Tino), Erich Shorter, Stephanie James (Brendan) and Ryan Welch (Shelly); and her sisters, Mary Ann McLochlin and Kathy Van Gilder (Bruce).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home (1100 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (612 N Walnut St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery (612 N Walnut St, Plymouth, IN 46563).
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 612 N. Walnut Street, Plymouth, IN 46563 or to St. Michael's Catholic School, 612 N. Center St. Plymouth, IN 46563.
