He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Isabel Mata (Longoria); and his siblings, Juantia Mata Sanchez, Diana Hancock, Sylvia Wagers, Bobby Mata, Maximino Mata and Ricardo Mata.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alyssa Raskow of Bremen, IN, Savanna Patrick (Tyler) of Plymouth, IN and Sandra Patrick (Angel) of Plymouth, IN; his siblings, Isabel Mata of Plymouth, IN, Viola Mata of Plymouth, IN, Mark Mata (Lois) of Plymouth, IN and Tiofileo Mata of Plymouth, IN; his grandchild Kylynn Darmer of Bremen, IN; his brother Bryant Darmer of Bremen, IN; his granddaughter Sofia Patrick; and his friend Tracy Patrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W Madison St, Plymouth, IN 46563).
