He was predeceased by: his parents, John Holdread and Ruth Cassler Holdread; his stepson James Ratke; and his siblings, Fern Wollington, Howard, Elbert, Robert and Wayne.
He is survived by: his friend Ann Russell (Foster); his children, Debbie Mullins of Ottawa, OH, Diana Asberry of Indianapolis and David Holdread of Knox; his stepson Michael Ratke of South Bend; his sisters, Florence Newcomer of South Bend and Lois Stoughton of Fullerton, CA; and his brother-in-law Arthur Wollington of Plymouth. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
