She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Schmeltz and Bertha Schmeltz (Thomas); her daughter Donna; her husband Donald Wood; her stepson David; her nephews, Larry D. Birk, Troy Klingerman and Scott Lowry; and her brothers-in-law, Gale Lowry, Larry Birk and Larry Wood.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sharon Lowry of Bremen, Margaret Birk, Carolina and Gloria Krieg (Chuck); and her close friend Debra Davis.
With her love to help and being with kids she became a substitute teacher for John Glenn schools, which she enjoyed until Covid hit.
